Building a HOME. We see a physical building where individuals can come and find love, joy, healing, growth, and empowerment and become a part of a spiritual family.  A family planted within the Shortwood community.

Building PEOPLE OF PURPOSE
We see a future where every member is empowered to become the purpose driven leader God has created them to be.  We are building an institute for leadership development.

Building a VOICE
We see a future in which Go For God will have one powerful voice.  We are building a platform from which the Will and Voice of God can be heard in our nation and in our world.

Building a PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
We see a state of the art Performing Arts Center from which the full expression of culture and artistic excellence will flow and from which the highest praise and deepest worship will be offered to God.

THE PROJECT WILL ENTAIL

• Increase seating capacity to 550-600          
• Widening the building to house more guests
• Heightening the building to house more guests and creating a balcony area
• Expanding the building to accommodate more visitors and construct offices
• Ticket Booth, Sound Booth, Additional Storage, Administrative and Operational offices and Enhanced Children’s Room
• Widening and Heightening the stage to allow for larger productions and performances and for grander dance shows, plays and entertainment productions.
• Additional Parking

Creating additional parking on the campus to facilitate the increased capacity of the upgraded building.

We will be building on the Shortwood Teachers' College campus remodelling and expanding the present Auditorium in which we currently meet.

The building project will commence as soon as all the requisite approvals are received and the financial resources are in place.  
The building project will take between one to three years and be complete by end of year 2026.

The project will cost between US$4.5 million and US$5.5 million.Our “First Step” Fundraising Campaign goal is J$25 million before March 2024.

Who will give resources to the project?

• US$2 million – Internal Go For God Church (giving and fund raising)
• US$1 million – Grants and NGO
• US$.5 million (half million) – Gov’t Partnerships
• US$2 million – Legacy Giver(s)
